Vulfrey is the Vessel. A sacrifice meant to relinquish his body upon his twentieth birthday so that Vahndestrus, the god of his people, may return to the world. And to Vulfrey, unyieldingly pious, there is no greater honor. To that end, he has lived his entire life caged within the mountain temple of Zjzjheinne, secluded from the rest of the world. He wiles away what time remains reading everything he can get his hands on, experiencing the world the one way he can—through ink on parchment.
